北卡羅來納州信息技術部(N.C.Department of Information Technology)寬頻與數字權益部副部長Nate Denny表示：「我們昨天頒發的獎項將把33個縣的逾2.5萬戶新家庭以及大約860家新企業與高速互聯網聯繫起來。」「我們知道，這對現代生活的幾乎每一個部分都很重要。」
